Did you know that the Home Buyer Tax Credit is not JUST for first time homebuyers? If you have lived in your home for at least five of the last eight years, you are eligible for up to a $6,500 tax credit to purchase a home. First-time home buyers who have not owned a home in the past three years are eligible for up to an $8,000 tax credit. There are some restrictions, so talk to your realtor. We wanted to start off the New Year with a fresh approach to promoting our company. We continue to build custom homes as well as spec homes and we have been very fortunate to be chosen to work with CityBank to complete some of the projects that they have.
As the New Year approaches, we are excited about a new project that we have already started in Ballard. It is right next to the Fremont Troll, and will be a beautiful, upscale, four unit townhome project. We love the area and are thrilled to offer these gorgeous homes for sale in 2010.
We continue to build custom homes as well, and have a new project starting this spring. As much as we enjoy building the townhomes, we receive great satisfaction in providing excellent craftsmanship in our custom homes. We have a terrific team of subcontractors who have remained with us through the years, as well as a few new talented subcontractors that we have discovered.
We have decided to share new ideas and helpful hints for homeowners and for those of you who would like to become homeowners. We plan on posting information that we hope will be of interest to you.
